Built light on purpose
Speed is easiest to get at the start. We pick one font family, size every image to the layout, and add outside scripts only when they earn their place. Features such as galleries, maps and booking widgets load when a visitor scrolls to them, so the first screen shows up quickly.
Most of our builds are static pages served from a content delivery network, which keeps them quick and cheap to host. If you need to post updates often, we set up an editor that fits how often you write.
Content and photos
You know your business better than we do, so we start with a short questionnaire and a call. From that we draft the page text for you to correct. Good photos of your work, your team or your shop help more than stock images. We'll send a shot list and size them properly when they arrive.
After launch
You own the domain, the hosting account and the files. We hand over logins and a short guide for editing text and swapping photos. If you want help with changes later, ask and we'll quote it.
Questions
Can you use my existing logo and colors?
Yes. Send the logo file you have, ideally as an SVG or a large PNG, and we'll build the site around it.
Do you write the text?
We draft it from your answers and a call, and you edit it. You can also send your own text and we'll fit it to the pages.
Can the site take online bookings or payments?
Yes, through the booking or payment service you choose. We load it in a way that doesn't slow down the rest of the page.
